Sometimes you just need a simple recipe. You don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen. You basically want to stir, dump and bake. This leaves you with two options: the world’s easiest and greatest brownies or these hazelnut muffins.
Their super simple, super quick, super fluffy, super moist and honestly – everyone who doesn’t have a nut allergy love them.
Oh, and if you do decide to put some more effort in, I added a great frosting option at the bottom of the recipe.
- Preheat your oven to 180°C/356°F and layout a muffin baking tray with 12 muffin paper cups.
- Add butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs and milk to a large bowl and blend well.
- Add hazelnuts, flour and backing powder and mix again until all ingredients are evenly blended.
- Fill the batter evenly into the 12 muffin paper cups and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
The perfect Topping for Hazelnut Muffins
Let your muffins cool off for a while and garnish them with this super easy chocolate buttercream sugar frosting. Maybe even add a few more chopped hazelnuts on top.
